Sangita Sahay, M.D.
Sangita has been practicing medicine for more than two decades. Not only is she Board Certified in the U.S. but is licensed to practice medicine in Europe and Asia. After completing medical school in India, she practiced for several years in England, earning the MRCP, the most prestigious degree for doctors. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Due to her proficiency, she was board certified in two years instead of the three by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Sangita Sahay moved to Melbourne in 2001 and has been serving Brevard and Indian River Counties ever since. She is very involved in medical research and academic pursuits which keep her at the cutting edge of her medical expertise. Dr. Sahay has an unparalleled love for medicine and takes great pride in her patient care. Her interests lie in the study of Diabetes, Lipidology, Hypertensive Heart Disease and Lung Disease.
